Hazards to people and environment
- Danger: causes serious eye damage.
- May cause eye irritation.
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Protective measures and behaviour rules
- Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
- Keep container tightly closed.
- Ensure good ventilation at the workplace.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.
- Wash hands before breaks and after work.
- Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
- Keep emergency eyewash nearby.
- Store tightly closed in the original container in a cool, dry place.
- Keep away from food, drink and animal feed.
- Do not allow to enter drains, surface water or soil.
Emergency response
- If product gets into eyes: rinse immediately with water.
- Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.
- Continue rinsing and call a doctor or poison centre immediately.
- Move affected persons out of the danger area.
- Show the safety data sheet to the attending physician.
First aid
- After inhalation: move to fresh air; seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
- After skin contact: wash immediately with soap and plenty of water; get medical advice if irritation continues.
- After eye contact: rinse with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes, including under eyelids; see an eye specialist immediately.
- After swallowing: rinse mouth and spit out liquid; do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person; seek medical advice if symptoms persist.
- First aid responders should protect themselves and wear recommended protective equipment.
Proper disposal
- Do not dispose of with normal waste.
- Do not release into drains.
- Dispose of product according to local regulations.
- Contact an authorised waste disposal company.
- Empty contaminated packaging as far as possible; recycle after cleaning if allowed.
- If recycling is not possible, dispose of packaging according to local regulations.
