Hazards to people and environment
- No special hazards known.
- Use normal chemical hygiene rules.
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Protective measures and behaviour rules
- Wear safety glasses.
- Wear chemical-resistant gloves, preferably nitrile or butyl rubber.
- Wear protective work clothing and safety shoes.
- For mixing or stirring, use a rubber apron and protective boots.
- No special respiratory protection required.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while working.
- Keep container tightly closed in a dry, well-ventilated place.
Emergency response
- Use standard fire prevention measures.
- Move affected person to fresh air after inhalation.
- Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
- Wash skin with soap and plenty of water.
- Remove contact lenses and rinse eyes with eyes held open.
- Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a doctor.
First aid
- No special first aid measures required.
- After inhalation: move to fresh air.
- After skin contact: wash with soap and plenty of water.
- After eye contact: remove contact lenses and rinse thoroughly.
- After swallowing: rinse mouth with water.
- Do not give milk or alcohol.
- Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
- Medical treatment: treat symptomatically.
Proper disposal
- Avoid or minimize waste.
- Empty containers may contain product residues.
- Dispose of waste and containers safely through an approved waste contractor.
- Prevent release to soil, drains, wastewater and waterways.
- Dispose of according to local regulations.
